As I am sure you guys already know, I shop on Amazon almost daily. From household goods to clothing and shoes, it’s one of my first online destinations. I recently came across this gorgeous pair of Nautica wedge booties that I just couldn’t wait to share with you! I am SO into wedges right now. They give me just the right amount of extra height to really lengthen the legs but they are still easy to walk in. These ones are great because they are also neutral and you can wear heavy socks with them for the colder months. They come navy blue as well (you know I love navy!) You could pair these with leggings, dress them up for the office, make them more casual with some cuffed denim, etc. The possibilities are endless. Sizing wise- I feel they run a little big. I would suggest sizing down half a size. While I went down the Nautica rabbit hole I also found this jacket and tote bag that I couldn’t pass up. This jacket is very similar to a designer one I own but actually a little better because it’s thinly lined in fleece on the inside making it extra warm and comfortable. Plus it has thumb holes! Oh and the price is also way better. I also thought this tote was a pretty great black basic for less than $30! There’s tons of pockets so it will easily hold all my kids things! Overall I was very impressed with my Nautica pieces from Amazon Fashion – I highly suggest checking out their stuff for great and affordable pieces!
I have had a lot of requests for holiday/NYE looks- and while getting dressed up isn’t something I do often, I was happy to put these two looks together! One is definitely more casual- aka ME and the other is definitely more for NYE in my opinion (hello sequins!)
Nordstrom is always my go-to place when putting looks together for any upcoming event. They carry all my favorite brands and it’s so easy to find what I am looking for! I hope you enjoy these looks- keep in mind it was 30 degrees here when shooting! haha- I tried not to look cold but I was freezing!
Sizing- I took an XS in this amazing leopard coat (TTS) and a small in this sweater (sized up for length) It is hard to tell but the sweater has metallic stitching which is why I consider it more of a holiday sweater. Jeans fit TTS for me and are a brand I need to purchase more of- I LOVE them! And lastly- these wedges are entirely sherpa on the inside so they are incredibly warm and comfortable. They run TTS- I actually have them in the antelope color as well!
Like I mentioned above, this next look is definitely more NYE. But seriously how fun is this dress? The sequins are amazing. You will definitely make a statement in this piece. I also just wanted to point out my earrings even though you can’t really see them. Black beaded bows. PERFECTION.
Sizing info- The dress fits TTS- I am wearing an XS. You can make a lot of adjustments to it with the straps that criss cross the back but you can’t do anything about length. So if you are worried about it being short- size up one size and you can always lace up the back tighter! My furry cardigan is a size small- I always go up a size in this particular brand. Heels run TTS, I can’t find this heel height in them but I am linking the exact ones except with a kitten heel! Very similar ones but with a higher, chunkier heel can be found here.
I feel like the cyber week sales are starting earlier and earlier every year but that’s okay! Who doesn’t love a good sale?! The Nordstrom cyber sale is the best I have ever seen- with many pieces up to 60% off!! Here are two looks I put together- almost all of which is marked WAY DOWN! I have a feeling, with prices this low, things will sell out FAST. So if you see something you love and in the size you need, I would order it immediately! You don’t want to have any regrets! We all know how much it stinks to have missed out on that item you’ve had your eye on!
So I ended up buying this tunic in every single color! It’s 60% off, making it just $15!! The price is unreal. It’s made out of that super soft brushed material that I just love and it’s actually tunic length so you can wear it with leggings too. (Ps. spanx leggings are on sale right now!!) Also you guys know my love of packable coats and at less than $100- this one is amazing! It has a big collar which I love and it can pack up into a little baggie that comes with the coat! I can’t believe these jeans are still on sale. They are so flattering and comfortable and the price is unbeatable. I got my regular size 25 so stick with your regular size. Lastly can we discuss how cute these faux fur boots are?! They are part boot/part sneaker and the fur is just UNREAL. I have had these since last year but you can score them on sale now! They run true to size and come in three colors.
Here’s another packable jacket option for you- I believe this off white color is sold out but the light pink is SO GOOD. My ivory fuzzy sweater is beautiful. I have worn it so many times since getting it a month or so ago. The sleeves are a fuzzy material and it has the slightest mock neck- which you know I love! I ordered it in a small for a little extra length. Lastly, these waterproof hiking boots were a bit of a splurge but I saw them and had to order them! They are waterproof which is great for Maine winters and the treads are pretty substantial. I didn’t have any light grey boots so these seemed like a good option- no regrets so far! They run true to size and there’s still room if I want to wear heavier socks!
The Nordstrom Fall Sale is well underway and things are selling out FAST!! I have put together a few looks with various pieces I picked up from the fall sale but you will have to hurry- sizes are limited in most things. The sale runs through November 18 but I have a feeling all the good stuff will be gone before then!
This wool peacoat might be my favorite thing from the sale. I can’t believe it’s only $35! I was debating between the pink and tan but went with the tan since it’s more classic. I went with my regular size XS and would say it fits true to size and I can still layer under it if I want to. My jeans are also part of the sale- only $44. I have had them since this summer and have worn them a TON! The website states to size down but I went with my regular size and they fit great. My top is a very versatile piece that can be dressed up or down. It’s also work appropriate (I get asked all the time for office attire!). Lastly, my booties are SO CHIC. I need the black pair! The pointy toe and low-heel make them flattering but also comfortable enough to wear all day!
I love the colors in this next outfit. My tank top rarely goes on sale. It’s a really hot item! It comes in a bunch of patterns and colors so there’s definitely one for every one. My cardigan was a great find and a great buy. Only $57- I think it was originally close to $100. It’s cozy and warm but also very chic-definitely a fall closet staple. Lastly these booties are the best! They are flats so you can be comfortable in them all day. They also come in a darker brown that is just beautiful!
Lastly I just wanted to mention this henley top. I am a huge fan of the style plus this one is SO soft. I love anything made of that super soft brushed material so this top was a must buy for me. It also comes in a few other colors and is only $27!
Here are some other things I am loving from the Nordstrom Fall Sale:
Okay you guys, the Wal-Mart fashion department is SO GOOD right now! I recently I found myself aimlessly walking around Walmart (probably looking for pull-ups) and I couldn’t get over the Women’s fashion department– especially the Time and Tru brand-so good!. I took a little detour through the clothes because so many of the pieces caught my eye. I also feel like so many of the pieces look like pieces I already have in my wardrobe but paid AT LEAST double or triple for! I think Wal-Mart has really stepped up their game in the fashion and shoe department which is just fantastic. If you are on a budget or don’t like to spend a ton of money on clothes, you can achieve the same look for less. There were so many sweaters and tops I could have come home with. Cute button details, soft fabrics, delicate details, etc. I highly encourage you to take a look around their website or at your local store. They even have a Premier Section on their site with brands like BCBG, Lord & Taylor, Calvin Klein, Vince Camuto, Lucky, to name a few.
Okay now let’s discuss this outfit! It was incredibly easy to put together and in total, the entire outfit cost just over $50!!! That’s right! $50 for an amazing sweater cardigan, henley, jeans, shoes and bag! LIKE WHAT???? You know I get super excited about things and this collaboration with Wal-Mart was definitely one of them! The sweater cardigan is definitely the hero piece for me! It is SO SOFT, great quality, comes in a bunch of colors and was less than $17! MIND = BLOWN! I got it in a size small and it fits great. Next this henley– I am actually not new to the Wal-Mart henley tops, I already own two from last year but I felt this wine color was perfect for fall! I took it in a size small. It fits great, a little looser than other henley tops I have but likely because I got a small and not an xs. The black jeggings were another great find- my only concern was that they don’t seem to have a lot of XS sizes in store so I took a chance and got a small which said it fits a size 3-5. Luckily they fit great- even after washing and drying them on high heat- which you know I always do! Okay onto accessories! You literally can’t go wrong with black ballet flats. These ones were like $6 and they are actually really comfortable. PLUS- black ballet flats will NEVER go out of style- just ask any fashionable woman in Paris. (True story- I remember being on our honeymoon and couldn’t get over how every woman in Paris were wearing black ballet flats. It was incredible. I will never forget that little memory). I found them to run true to size. Lastly this amazing tote bag! It was $14 and is reversible. It also comes in a bunch of color, has a detachable crossbody strap and detachable pouch that you can carry for a night out or store your receipts and lip products in. I have a very similar tote that I recently paid a few hundred dollars for and this one was $14. unbelievable. If I haven’t sold you on Wal-Mart as a fashion destination yet, just take a wonder through your local store. I can promise you, you will be as amazed at the pieces as I was!
