How to Style Ugg Boots- Part One

It should come as no surprise to you all that I LOVE my Ugg boots! I own a bunch and wear them all the time- from around November to April- when it’s really cold, wet and snowy here. Nordstrom is always one of my first go-to’s for the newest Ugg styles- not only for me but for my entire family. Today I am styling two pairs and later on in part 2, I will be styling two more pairs. In my opinion they are just the best for winter in terms of both warmth and style. Plus almost every pair of their boots come in a variety of colors so there is something for everyone!

Fuzzy Jacket…

If you know me at all, you know I probably did NOT need another fuzzy jacket. I have so many already BUT when you live where it’s cold half the year, you really do get your cost per wear out of them. Anyways- I was not in the market for another jacket until I saw this fuzzy one when shopping in Nordstrom last week. It stopped me in my tracks because it looks (and is) SO SOFT. I grabbed it immediately and went to the cash register. I think I even sold the girl who was ringing me up on it too. She was going to go check it out after! It really is such a good one and less than $100. It would also make a great gift for a sister, best friend, mom, girlfriend, etc. I know if my husband gifted it to me, I would be over the moon! Sizing wise, I took my regular size and was still able to wear a sweater under it as you can see! So stick to your normal size!

Moving on- let’s discuss this sweater quickly. It is so soft! Like so so soft and comes in 9 colors! I am definitely going to be ordering another one or two. I have my eye on the pink one (for a pop of color) and the coral color. I took my regular size and it works great. If you want it to look even more loose and relaxed you could size up one size.

Lastly- these shoes. Oh my goodness, you guys know my obsession with them is SO real. They are hands-down the most gorgeous pair of shoes I have ever owned. The detail on them is just stunning AND they are actually comfortable. Total score! They also run true to size.

So next time you are in Nordstrom, don’t forget to check out the outerwear section, even if you already have 100 different coats and jackets like I do! You never know what you’re going to stumble on that you just have to have.

Express Your Gift- Cozy Knits!

Today I am partnering up with Express to Express Your Gift- and show you a couple of super cozy sweaters and accessories I recently found! You probably know by now that I am ALLLLL about the cozy knits this time of year! I am basically living in sweaters 24/7- from now until April! It actually snowed a little this morning so it’s completely justified. Now is the perfect time to head into Express for some holiday shopping and pick up a few cozy pieces for yourself or as gifts! Bonus- I have a discount code for you to make your holiday shopping a little easier on the wallet!

Right now Express is running a promo- $25 off your in-store purchase of $100 or more using code: 2253 until 12/15. Terms and Conditions apply- can not be combined with any other promotions.

Sizing info-
I took a small in the ruffle sleeve sweater.  I am normally an XS in tops but I needed to size up for more length. In the cowlneck sweater I took an XS- it is a bit more oversized!  In the jeans I took a 00S- they hit me right at the ankle. They are tight but not TOO tight. The 0 was too loose.

Purple and Grey…

I am really loving this purple and grey combo right now! Ever since I found this bow-sleeve sweater at Nordstrom, I have had my eye on more and more purple pieces. It ties in so seamlessly with my already light and neutral wardrobe. I am so glad I found this sweater at the store, otherwise I probably would have ordered the wrong size. It runs quite long so I am actually wearing an XS petite and it’s a perfect fit.

Also- I have definitely gotten my moneys worth out of this vest. I wear it ALL THE TIME. I actually just ordered the full fleece in khaki so you will be seeing that in my feed very soon.

Lastly, can we discuss these cute Ugg boots?!?! I am SO pom pom obsessed these days. I am sure you already know this though. I also have both these slippers and these moccasins with pom poms so when I saw these boots, I had to have them. They are so cute and comfortable and I have gotten SO many compliments on them! I will be living in these all winter for sure!

Tory Burch Bags: A Review and Comparison

tory burch bags
Hi everyone! I am back again today with Nordstrom to review my most recent Tory Burch bags I purchased for fall! For me, they all serve a different purpose so I thought it would be fun to do a mini review and show you details of each bag in case you were in the market for a new fall bag!

McGraw Leather Tote ($398)

This is the perfect work bag! If you are a busy worker bee, this bag is for you! It will definitely fit a laptop, your lunch, folders and anything else you might take to work. It’s perfect for everyday. The interior pocket is great for holding your keys or cell phone. I love the tassel as well, it just gives it a little something special. This gorgeous leather tote comes in a bunch of different colors.

Taylor Triple Compartment Tote ($528)

This is a great every day purse. It isn’t big enough for a laptop or your kids things so if you just need a good purse for YOU- this is it! I love that is actually has three separate compartments. It makes it so much easier to find and organize your things. The middle pocket is zippered too which is a great place to store your wallet. It also has two pockets on either side as well so there is just tons of storage in this bag. Plus it has the tassel I love!

Ella Nylon Tote ($248) (Also comes in leopard!)

This is the perfect Mom bag! For one, it’s nylon so you can just wipe it clean. And for two, it’s HUGE! The sides snap closed so it can be make more a bit smaller but I prefer them unsnapped to make one very big bag. This is the bag I have been using most frequently these days. It’s big enough to hold all my belongings and both Emmy and Elliott’s things! The studded TB logo is also really fun. Someone actually stopped me a few days ago and said how ‘cool’ my bag was. It’s a fun take on a mom bag/diaper bag.

Anyways! I hope you found this review helpful and useful if you are looking to buy a new fall bag. Sometimes it’s nice to be able to compare and contrast a few different styles and of course to see how it looks on someone! Which bag is your favorite? I can’t decide!

Thanks for stopping by!
