Hi! I have had so many requests to share more office-ready pieces. Today I’m super excited to share an amazing 9-5 outfit from J. Crew Factory. Right now, they are running an in-store promotion- all wear-to-work styles are 50% off through 3/1 and online you will find lots of wear-to-work deals through 2/28!

A couple years ago (seriously, time flies!) I became obsessed with the J.Crew Factory sweater blazer and even coined the hashtag #babesinblazers where so many of you shared your outfits in the beloved blazer. To me, the blazer is the number one piece to have for your professional office wardrobe. It can be styled in so many different ways, you’ll never feel like you’re wearing the same outfit every day. I size down in it because I like the arms to be slightly more fitted. One of my favorite pieces to pair underneath the blazer is the famous scalloped camisole. This piece is an absolute staple and comes in so many colors! Of course, when I saw that it is now carried in leopard, I had to have it! For this piece, I get a size 2. I am in between a 0 and 2 but the straps are adjustable so I would rather have it a little looser than a little tighter.

My pants are fabulous! If you are looking for a classic pair of black ankle pants, these are them! They aren’t too tight, they have a little stretch and they look very professional. I took my regular size in these- I am 5’5 and you can see they are ankle-length.

Lastly, comfortable heels are key! J.Crew Factory has done it again this season with these block heels. I love the squared toe, chunky tortoise heel and gold detail. I took my regular size in these. If you are in between, I would suggest sizing up.

Thank you to J.Crew Factory for sponsoring this post. As always, all thoughts and ideas are my own and genuine.

Affordable Utility Jacket…

It’s February – which means spring is right around the corner. It also means that I’m back at Walmart searching for affordable and trendy items for the season! Just as in years past, I rely on Walmart to help me get my spring fashion items so the minute the snow melts I’m all dressed up and ready to go! In this post, I am sharing the most perfect spring utility jacket! I love the tie detail in the front and the overall style. You can totally dress it up or down, depending on how you style. it. I am wearing a small for reference. Also, I have shared these metallic loafers before but they are THAT GOOD. So comfortable, totally neutral but with a hint of shiny fun. The fit is true to size and they even come with memory foam insoles!

Thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own and genuine.

The Grey Coatigan…

Hi Everyone! I am back at it today. I have gotten a lot of requests to continue sharing my Walmart finds so here we are! Ask and you shall receive! I did my usual where I go in with an open mind and not looking for anything in particular. I wait for something to jump out at me. That is actually how I generally always shop. It didn’t take long before I stumbled upon this sweatshirt/blazer/cardigan gem. Actually I guess it’s technically called a coatigan. It immediately reminded me of a particular piece that is much more expensive! It’s super versatile. You can easily pair it with leggings and a longer tank top and sneakers or go the other way and wear jeans, a nice camisole and heels. It isn’t very structured which gives it a more casual vibe. The pink one would be great for spring! I got a size small, I am not sure it comes in an xs but I did try to shrink it a bit so it would fit more like an xs. Oh also, I wanted to point out- my shoes are actually from last year but they were so popular, it looks like Walmart kept them around for another season! They are comfortable and look so much more expensive than they are!

Happy Shopping! If you find any gems from Walmart, be sure to DM me or email me!

A Year In Review- 2019

2019 was the busiest and best year for me! I got to check off a few things from my blogging bucket list, so some traveling and meet a few IG turned real life friends. Here is a mini review of some of my highlights from the past year!

Transforming my home with the help of Serena and Lily– This year I was able to make some major upgrades and beautiful changes to our home with help from my favorite decor brand Serena and Lily. We made our living room come alive and become so much more inviting with a new couch and lots of blue decor accents. We were able to take our dining area from drab to WOW with new chairs and a rug. it’s amazing how changing a few small things adds a big impact to your space. The kitchen got new counter stools which again, really elevated the room. Our bedroom and bathroom also got more hints of blue spread throughout. I think blue and white accents has become the primary decorating colors in my house and I just love it. It’s so fitting considering we live in New England. None of these changes would have been possible without the help of Serena and Lily- so a huge thank you to them!

I was also able to work with one of my favorite brands of all-time- J.Crew. And what made it even better was that Emmy was in the posts with me- matching! I just love these pics and will forever cherish them.

Another brand that I have been able to work with through out the year was J.Crew Factory. It’s been an honor and a privilege to be recognized by the brand after all the promoting I did in the past with #BabesinBlazers. It was genuinely a special moment when they reached out to collaborate with me!

In May one of my best friends and I took a trip to CT. It was SO fun and memorable. The entire trip was centered around meeting with Dudley Stephens and visiting their Townhouse. We were actually star struck and it was SO cool to see where all our favorite brand operates. Lauren and Kaki were also sweet as could be which made the experience that much more special. During our trip we also got to have dinner with one of my long-time IG friends Liz Joy from Pure Joy Home. It’s always so fun when IG friends become real friends.

Over the summer I did a little bit of traveling with my family but we mostly stayed put. Maine isn’t a place you want to leave in the summer but we did fly to Toronto for our annual summer trip. We went to a Blue Jay’s game and Canada’s Wonderland- I look forward to the day at Canada’s Wonderland all year long. It was my favorite day in all of 2019! Can’t wait for next year’s visit!

I actually took a second trip to CT this fall for an even with Sail to Sable- another brand i have loved and have worked with for years. During this trip I was also able to meet a few more IG friends turned real friends- Ailsa from Happy Go Curly, Rachel Moore from Pinteresting Plans and Krista Robertson from Covering the Bases. It was a fun-filled 24 hour trip for sure!

Thank you for all your support and following along with me this past year. I am so excited for everything that 2020 has in store!!
